I just got two new bassoon reeds! YAY! For $30, oof. I need to find a professional bassoon player where I can buy finished reeds cheap.

Daily reminder that if you don’t make your instructor writhe on the floor in pain, you’re not using enough emotion.
Does it count of my director has so much emotion that she tells us to put away our instruments and sit there. and then tells us to take them out again?
Someone should buy me a new bassoon reed. I bought mine a month + ago, and one of them has a broken seal near the turk’s head and the one that actually works is slowly dying and getting flat on me. UGH, REEDS.

Education
Tuition has risen in the United States from EX: UC Berkeley; 3.6k to 12.8k in the last ten years. It’s ridiculous. State colleges nowadays get 10% of their funding from the state. Where is all of our government’s money going to? Do they not understand the importance of education?
